The Global Nature of the Islamic Threat

1-                  The Global Problem- In the morning of September 11, 2001, America was abruptly awakened to the reality of the Islamic terrorist threat to our homeland. This was one of those watershed moments in history that causes a paradigm shift in our culture. America would never be the same. Who can forget the gruesome scene, as the

Twin

Towers collapsed killing thousands inside and injuring many others? Most of us watched in utter dismay, wondering how someone could be so cruel as to sacrifice their own lives, in order to kill so many innocent civilians. Who would do such a thing? What could cause someone to sacrifice his life to kill so many others?

In the aftermath of the 9-11 tragedy in

New York , western academia myopically blamed Islamic aggression on western colonialist policies. To believe this is to deny the entire history of Islam’s imperialistic aggression on all other religions and nations. The reason for the destruction of the

Twin

Towers in our age is in fact the very same reason that Islam has attacked each of the countless nations of the world in their past history. It is simply part of their deeply ingrained theological construct derived from the Koran and the Hadith.

Some have charged that our nation’s relationship with Israel is to blame. No doubt the Jews have faced the brunt of their violence in our generation. However, the western nations must understand that the Jews are not the only victims of Islam. Islamic aggression is not just a problem for the Jews. It is a problem for the entire Free World. Their hatred for Jews is undeniable. But, the violence toward those they deem to be “infidels” has historically been waged on all other religions and peoples, including non-Muslim Arabs. Violent aggression toward unbelievers is condoned and even commanded by the Koran.

There are some moderate Muslims, which intuitively understand the error of this terrorist agenda fostered by the Koran, and have attempted to reform the aggressive, militaristic Jihadist movement by declaring these verses in the Koran to be irrelevant to our present age. They have through different hermeneutical tactics claimed that these verses only applied to early Islam. Unfortunately, their theological construct is little accepted amongst most other Muslims.

To……..All in Uniform in Iraq
From…TAT, American Citizen
Re……..Should we pull out of Iraq, now?
Date…..December 2005

The other day I was watching the news and I got fed up, completely fed up with the ridiculous arguments being made as to why it is imperative to pull our military out of Iraq. Not wanting to destroy my big screen TV with whatever was within throwing reach, instead, I got up, went to my computer and put some thoughts together, for you, the American Warrior, in battle in a foreign land. I want to talk straight and ultimately encourage you to have an increased desire to fight, and if necessary, die, as this fight, at this time, is without question the Right Fight.

But, who the hell am I to have the audacity to encourage you to die?

Though it is important to know something about the writer of whatever you read, it is actually more important to evaluate the words written, on their face, in their essence, as to their integrity, consistency, and truthfulness. Nevertheless, I am a 54 year-old father of two kids, a boy 24 and a girl 27. My daughter also has two kids, a boy 7 months and a girl 3 years. I have been married to the same woman for over 31 years. I own a small business and struggle everyday to make a living. Though I have never been in the military, during my professional career of over thirty years I have been very involved in formally arguing the geopolitical affairs of the day in the public square.

I get up at 5:25am and I’m in the gym until around 7. I leave for work around 8:30. In those three hours, I have consumed at least two hours of the morning national and international news. On the 30 minute drive to work, I listen to talk radio or when I need a break from all the craziness, I catch a bit of Howard Stern! While in my office, I monitor the news and talk radio.

On the drive home, more talk radio and then cable news at night. I read at least one paper a day and several books a week, primarily on the Islamic threat before us.

In addition, I hold earned degrees in Law Enforcement, Theology and Philosophy. Therefore, I am in a pretty good position to answer the questions you have been asking, like…

“In 1914, at the beginning of our ill-fated twentieth century, a storm broke out over this civilization, a storm the size and range of which no one at that time could grasp. For four years Europe destroyed herself as never before, and in 1917 a crevasse opened up on the very edge of Europe, a yawning gap enticing the world into an abyss.
The causes of the crevasse are not hard to find: it was the logical result of doctrines that had been bandied about in Europe for ages and had enjoyed considerable success. But this crevasse has something cosmic about it, too, in its unplumbed, unsuspected depths, in its unimaginable capacity for growing wider and wider, and swallowing up more and more people.” (Warning to the West, by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Ferrar, Straus and Giroux, New York, 1976, pg.128)

Freedom of Choice

Should all women have the freedom of choice? Of course and so should every man. I do not know of a single person in the pro-life community that does not believe that a woman has a right to have the freedom of choice. She can choose what she likes with her body, but only her body. The issue at hand is that we do not believe that she has the right to kill a separate human being, which is merely residing within her womb. The unborn human being from a purely scientific perspective cannot be considered an extension of the mother’s body, even if it resides within her.

When Does a Fetus Become a Person?

The true scientific fact is that our bodies are continuously changing from the very first moment we are conceived until the very last breath we take. We grow, we mature, we change in intellectual capacity, level of consciousness and physical form, but we do not change in our intrinsic value as a human being. The absolute dignity of human life is not measured by our usefulness or functionality, appearance or size.

If the unborn is not a separate person from the mother, as the pro-abortionists claim, then at what point in the development does a fetus become a person? Here, we enter into a broiling caldron of conflicting, “expert” opinions and the waters become quite murky. There are three separate viewpoints in this regard. The first, and possibly the most popular, declares that the fetus becomes a person, when it becomes viable. That is, when it can survive outside the mother’s womb. Before this point in the development of the fetus, it is declared to be a part of the mother’s body and therefore, they allege that she has the right to do with it, as she well pleases. Their assumption is that when the fetus can survive independently, then it becomes a legal person. But, as we shall see, this is just another clever smokescreen to legitimize their greed, for the abortion industry is quite lucrative.

Viability

The Abortion Procedure

Some are of the misinformed opinion that the unborn human being was never considered a person by our courts. But, this is simply not true. The calloused and arbitrary decision to designate the status of a non-entity to the unborn is a recent development of our culture. It is the direct result of the adoption of the Hegelian/naturalistic worldview. In the past, our courts had supported the view that the unborn was a person and could therefore be eligible for financial remuneration in the cases of wrongful death.

“In the vast majority of cases where the present issue has arisen, recovery has been allowed… To the extent that the views of text writers and legal commentators have come to our attention, they are unanimously of the view that non-viability of the fetus should not bar recovery.” (Torrigan vs. Watertown News Co., Massachusetts Supreme Court, April 1927–)

Smokescreens, the Masks of Evil

“Perhaps, as my colleague Crick, suggested, ‘The child should not be declared fully human till three days after birth.’” (James Watson, American Medical Association’s Prism Magazine, 1973)

The brute fact is simply that the abortion movement is, but one of the negative and destructive symptoms created, as a natural consequence of the adoption and implementation of the anti-theistic religion of naturalism. And the retinue of rationalizations masked, as smokescreens for the justification of implementing the Hegelian/naturalistic agenda, is never-ending. Let us now analyze each of these smokescreens.

Child Abuse and Abortion

The slick propagandists have elicited the publics’ natural outrage against the abuse of children by claiming that if abortion is made illegal the number of unwanted, abused and hungry children will increase accordingly. But, the monstrosity of this lie is made bare by the fact that there is absolutely not one shred of evidence that they can produce to substantiate this outlandish claim.
Every year 100,000 cases of sexual child abuse cases are reported in our nation and the increase yearly is staggering. The legalization of abortion did nothing to stem the tide. But, the real reason for this increase is that our culture is accepting the Hegelian worldview and, as such, their moral standards are waning miserably. The selfishness propagated by this naturalistic mindset is palpable in our culture and the destruction of our basic moral underpinnings is leaving a trail of devastation in its wake of misery. Even the songs that are popular amongst our youth speak only of monetary greed, sexual exploitation and rampant violence. They are a reflection of the mindset created by the naturalistic paradigm that has entrenched itself in our public education system. Our music culture has shifted and is continuing to shift toward rampant violence and unbridled greed. The pimp that exploits the women under his tyrannical control is glorified. Gangsters, rape, murder and theft are all justified and even glorified in order to make some “Bling Bling.”
All who would dare to expose and oppose the malignancy and virulence of such lyrics in the young and impressionable minds of our youth are immediately and almost ferociously branded as anachronistic and “old school” regressive moralists. Sadly, the depravity of the message is subliminally accepted by our youth, which is being systematically desensitized to the true nature of their noxious message of destruction. This is the real consequence of the acceptance of the Hegelian/naturalistic worldview. And what is more, the acceptance of this socially accepted aggression has equally influenced adults into becoming a much more aggressive and violent generation.
The increase in violence in our culture has nothing to do with a person not having the legal right to kill his unborn child. The unabashed lie that child abuse and domestic violence would increase if abortions were illegal is preposterous.

“Modern man has fallen prey to the same temptation that Eve succumbed to in the Garden of Eden. It is the desire to ‘be like God’, having the capacity to determine the difference between good and evil (genesis 3:5). Once man accepts the philosophy that he can determine for himself, without utilizing God’s revelation, the difference between good and evil, he starts believing he is autonomous from God. Man now, like a god, is separate and can work on his own to effectuate his purposes. Man can now proclaim with Nietzsche, ‘Dead are all Gods; now we desire the superman to live.’ The Christian religion is thus suspect, for it allows no supermen within its doctrines. It is a stranger in a world with human gods.” (John Whitehead, The Separation Illusion, Mott Media, Milford Michigan, 1977, pg. 26)

The great deception of humanity, spawned at the very beginning of our race of beings, has become firmly imbedded into the very matrix of human culture. This is “The Lie” that permeates society and deeply influences our thinking from childhood till death and ever perverts our perception of true reality. It is our most destructive inclination and it evidences the very thing that we most try to ignore; our fallen state. It blinds us to “The Enemy Within”, as Dr. Paul Rodriguez so eloquently elucidates.
Only the Judeo-Christian concept of reality is able to provide a lucid continuity between unity and diversity. The universe is one, because it is created by a Personal God and all of reality- the visible and invisible- is therefore under His sovereignty. Yet, we have each been created in His image and therefore possess unique qualities that provide for diversity. The choices that we make therefore are significant because we can choose, as beings, to follow His precepts or rebel against them. Consequently, when we choose to become our own god, then our choices have real consequences.
But, without God’s revealed propositional truth we would be incapable of knowing good and evil, for all human choices would then be on equal footing. The idea that our faith should be removed and separated completely from our legal concepts, which are supposed to be designed in order to ensure justice, is therefore completely irrational and absurd. All legislation naturally presupposes a moral foundation, from which it emanates.
There are some who surreptitiously propagate the misconception that one cannot legislate morality, and they have elevated this ideal into the dark echelons of political correctness within our society. But, we must understand that this is simply an excuse to keep Christians and Jews from promoting their moral principles derived from the absolute standards, within the Holy Scriptures, through legislation. The fact is, that contrary to their claims, all legislation is in its very essence the enforcement of a moral view. This politically correct ideology is but another smokescreen, for it is impossible to create a law without some moral or ethical foundation that necessitates its existence. If the authors of that particular piece of legislation do not reflect the moral principles of the Judeo-Christian community, then they will reflect whatever foundational  “world–view” the legislators happen to hold, whether it is atheistic or pantheistic.
