Runes were symbols, which functioned much like an alphabet, with the added dimension that each symbol held a deeper meaning and was used not only in writing but in the later corrupted religion became a tool in the conjuring of spells. There are several sets of runes, which have been used in this fashion, some devised as recently as in the 20th century. The oldest of these runes is called the Elder Futhark and I believe its originator was someone, which worshipped in truth, the God of this universe. My study of the Elder Futhark has led me to conclude that at the time these runes were invented they held to a monotheistic faith. The original God of the Celts was named Teiwaz. Some time later this monotheistic faith became corrupted by the druids, which turned toward an occult counterfeit of the Truth. Teiwaz is the same God, as Dyeus Pater, the God passed down to the Ur people by Noah. The science of philology has conclusively shown that the name Teiwaz is in fact a derivative of the ancient name for God in the Middle East- Dyeus Pater, which means "Sky Father" in the ancient Indo-European language.

The rune Tyr or Teiwaz,  has the sound of ‘T’ and it is from this rune that the day Tuesday is named. The symbol is a single arrow pointing heavenward. The fact that this is the only god represented by their runes is proof that at this early time the Celts were monotheistic and only devolved into polytheism through the deception of Satan as time wore on.

There is no mention of Odin in the description of the early runes making the satanic claim of his authorship of the runes an obvious invention in later times. The rune of the Elder Futhark, which occultists believe is associated with Odin, is the last rune known as Othala. The association is not because the rune in any way refers to Odin, but because the rune literally translated means “own earth”. It was initially a symbol of the inheritance of personal property, but since Satan is presently the Prince of this earth, I will concede that Odin has now, momentarily, usurped ownership of the earth. Odin’s character, takes on the familiar persona of all the gods, which represent Satan. In this sense he is almost identical to that of Cernunnos in that he offers his cornucopia to those who worship him. That is, he is associated with the hoarding of worldly possessions. Therefore, in that sense, the rune may be misapplied to him.

As time wore on and the satanic process of the corruption of truth gained momentum, gods were artificially superimposed, as it were, and associated with different runes although in the very meaning of the rune no mention is ever made of that god. And so a definite pattern emerges and we observe that the earlier concepts of the Celts are more in tune with the truth of God while the later concepts are obviously tainted by the shamanistic and satanic, occult doctrines brought in by the druids. For example, we find that the earlier Lug was associated with the eagle and the later Lug was associated with the raven. But, this is true also of the rest of the world. The earlier Quetzalcoatl was associated with the eagle while the later Quetzalcoatl was associated with the serpent. The God Tyr was the God of Good and self-sacrifice, while Odin became the god of trickery, stealing, and self-service.

The Festival of Lugnasad, which was initially held to commemorate the hero Lug, then devolved into a ritual with human sacrifice not unlike the ritual of the similarly corrupted Kukulcan or Gucumatz (the later Quetzalcoatl) in Mesoamerica. The earlier Lug was associated with Tyr in that like Tyr and Dagda, He had lost his right hand in battle against the forces of evil. According to Norse legends the courageous God sacrificed his right hand to allow the binding of the Fenriss-Wolf (Satan) that threatened the entire cosmic order. The story of Llew parallels the story of Tyr and it is recorded that he received a replacement hand, which was even more powerful (made of silver). Thus he was known as Llew of the Silver Hand. If the reader would permit me to extrapolate slightly, I think that this quote symbolizes God having lost his son, his right hand, in battle against Satan. Furthermore as a result of the resurrection, the right hand has been restored (The silver hand) and is presently sitting at the right hand of God.

 “We do have such a high priest who sat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.” (Hebrews 8:1-2)

This resurrected Jesus, which sits at the right hand of Teiwaz in the throne of Heaven, we find here symbolized by the Celtic Silver Hand (right hand), and is in concordance with the Egyptian symbolism of the Wedjat Eye (His right eye), which was lost in a similar battle against the Egyptian Satan, Seth and which was also replaced miraculously by God. He is the vanquisher of the Wolf- Satan and through His sacrifice the cosmic order of the universe has been restored. As always Satan counterfeits what God does and twists it just enough to change the truth into a lie. His attempt, through the story of Odin, to change the reason for the sacrifice that brought Jesus to hang upon the tree is evident, for it is this sacrifice, which defeated the Wolf. Jesus also hung on a tree and is presently sitting on His throne at the right hand of God.

“The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead- whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.” (Acts 5:30-31)

Thus the tree (cross) was our bridge to the heavens through the sacrifice of the Messiah; this message is clearly set forth in the symbolism of the runes as it was initially designed.

The fact that it is Teiwaz, which is symbolized, and not Odin, in the runes, betrays the false shamanistic claim that Odin was the inventor of the runes. In addition, a great many of the runes of the Elder Futhark are derived from the rune for Teiwaz. These then form in their entirety a picture of the prophetic message of God throughout the ages.

Again, the rune for the “T” sound was the rune called Teiwaz and a single arrow pointing upward toward heaven depicted it; no other God is named by a rune in the Elder Futhark. This is symbolic of the fact that Teiwaz is in fact the only true God from Heaven. He is the Sky Father previously referred to as Dyeus Pater, and as such the arrow points to His abode in the heavens. It is not insignificant that this rune is composed of three lines symbolizing the Triune Godhead.

From this rune the designers of the Elder Futhark develop several others building on the symbolism of the first and declaring a theology, which is in complete accord with the Scriptures. Let us consider some of these runes:

Modern occult interpreters of these runes tell us that the Eihwaz rune of the Elder Futhark represents the powers of death and regeneration and is associated with the Yew Tree; the longest lived of the European trees, which represented God to the Celts. What is in this rune that would legitimize the traditional interpretation that tells us it stands for death and regeneration?

The symbol for Eihwaz in the Elder Futhark is a modification of the symbol for Teiwaz. The upward pointing arrow is now split in two directions. That is an arrow, which has half pointed upward and half-pointed downward:

The dual nature of the humanity and deity of the One, which would offer regeneration through his death while hanging on the tree, is here symbolized. The half arrow pointing downward is symbolic of his humanity (the earthly, the physical) and the half pointing upward is symbolic of his divinity (the heavenly, the spiritual).

The choice of the yew tree as the representative of this rune is no accident and it is understood even by the occult. Consider the following excerpt from an occult book of runes:

“Because it combines remarkable longevity with toxicity, the yew possesses the power of death and regeneration. Because it is the longest - lived of all European trees and is green throughout the year, the yew is a tree of life. Some ancient yews that have partially died are regenerated by their own daughter trees that grow in their decaying interiors. These especially are true symbols of life’s continuity. Others the so-called bleeding yews have never healing wounds. Red resin flows like blood from these wounds, but the tree is unaffected.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.56) (Emphasis mine)

What a marvelous illustration of the timeless, bleeding wounds of Christ on the cross which caused His death. It was upon these wounds that doubting Thomas thrust his hands. The remarkable illustration of God’s power to rise out of the ashes of death the living and resurrected Christ is here, also, perfectly illustrated.  In the midst of a decaying humanity, Jesus became human, died, resurrected and ascended into the right hand of God. It is his resurrection that offers us the healing of regeneration and allows new life to spring forth from the dead and decaying nature of our fallen condition.

The similarity to the Mayan bleeding tree, “The Red Tree of Cochineal” also known as “The Blood Tree” and the similarity of the story associated with it, is further evidence that God’s truth has been universally expounded throughout all time and from the very beginning. It is also significant that the position in the rune row is that of the number 13. This is also symbolic of Christ since beside the twelve apostles He was the 13th member of the group. This is also why Satan counterfeits this numerical value as the constituents of his worship groups and covens are composed of thirteen members.

The fifteenth position is that of the rune Elhaz. This again is the symbol of Teiwaz broken in half and the top part of the arrow is inverted downward:

The symbol then resembles the arms of a man hanging on a tree. The downward pointing of the arrow then depicts his complete humanity, and the fact that Teiwaz came down from heaven literally. The fact that the symbol for Teiwaz was broken in half and turned downward represents the death of Teiwaz, while He took on his humanity, when he hung on the tree. The sound of the rune is “zz” and is considered the most powerful defense possible against evil by modern runemasters. They are more correct than they know! It is the rune of personal protection, and so it is for those who place their faith in Teiwaz and His death on the cross for the remission of sins, for these individuals are then forever defended against the penalty of sin in hell.

The sixteenth rune is that of Sowulo and its sound is that of “s”. It also depicts the symbol of Teiwaz broken but the two, individual sides of the arrow, which point to his humanity (down) and his divinity (up) are joined together in harmony. It is the symbol of the returning Messiah as the two natures are now in harmony in his resurrected body. The Celts saw this rune as the symbol that resists the forces of death and disintegration, it is “heralding the triumph of light over darkness”. It is the rune of power in a straightforward direction. Surely a more accurate description of the conquering Messiah coming to establish the kingdom of light could not be found.

Again we find the symbol of Teiwaz facing downward and upward, but this time in a single line of continuity; this symbolizes the humanity and divinity in the resurrected form of the Messiah coming in power. This Sowulo rune is the symbol of the lightning bolt of God depicted in renderings of Teiwaz (as well as all the other gods derived from Him: Taranis, Thor, Smertullos, Zeus, Jupiter, etc.). It must also be remembered that the Celts held the misunderstood notion that the lightning bolt came from the sun. Thus the symbol depicted a powerful thunderbolt emanating from the sun. The sun was of course the symbol of God- Teiwaz. The bolt of lightening is then a symbol of destructive power levied on the world, a burst of light coming from God, which wields justice upon the earth in His Second Coming. Today this symbol is still recognized by the occult runemasters, as connected with the sun:

“The immensely powerful Sowulo is linked with the force and brightness of the sun.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.57)

Thus, unbeknown to them, this rune is in fact depicting that day in which God will return to this earth with His resurrected body and conquer the earth to set up His Kingdom. It is the symbol of His Second Coming. The fact that this symbol represented the coming of God’s Kingdom did not escape the notice of the Nazi Party as they adopted this as the symbol of their Sig rune in their slightly adapted Armanean runes. The double Sig became known as the dreaded S.S. heralding the coming of the one they believed would usher in the Third Reich.

“The most widely seen of the runes in Nazi Germany was the Armanean Sig rune, which was repeated as the symbol of the Schutz-Staffel (S.S.) meaning ‘protective force’. Originally Adolf Hitler’s personal bodyguards, the members of this organization became a much-feared force of repression in occupied Europe. The double Sig was a badge worn as an armband and also appeared on weapons and wall slogans. The even more famous swastika symbol was not based on a tune, but was a revival of an Indo-European symbol of solar power that appears on ancient Scandinavian rock carvings…The Sig rune, standing for Sieg or victory, appeared on many Nazi objects…” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.43) (Emphasis mine)

Is the lightning bolt associated with the return of the Messiah in Scripture? The victory predicted by the runes of the Elder Futhark is not that of the antichrist, but of the true Son of God, which is also the Son of Man, which has resurrected and will come as lightning from the east, according to Scripture.

“For just as the lightning comes from the east, and flashes even to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be…and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory” (Matthew 24:27,30) (Emphasis mine)

This is the sign of the Son of Man and we shall behold the Sky Father (Dyeus pater) as He will appear in the sky as an enormous flash of lightning and victory will be His as He defeats the armies of the antichrist mounted against the nation of Israel in the Valley of Armageddon.

The eleventh rune in the Elder Futhark is that of Isa, which literally translated means ‘ice’; this is depicted with just a single vertical line. It is the symbol of the world without the warmth of God, thus the arrow is missing.

The twelfth rune is called Jera meaning literally “year”. This rune is composed of two symbols. The first symbol is that of the rune Isa and the second symbol is the diamond. Most modern interpreters of the runes consider the diamond as a symbol for the earth. It stands for the four cardinal points of the earth.
The rune Isa (ice) then intersects the two ice poles.

The four points may also depict the four cardinal points of the year that divide the seasons, in which case, the ice line would intersect both the equinoxes marking either the end of the ice or the beginning of the ice (The Equinoxes).

The last rune of the Elder Futhark is the rune Othala that we have touched upon briefly previously. This rune is also depicted by two symbols. The first is the diamond representing the earth and the second is the cap of the arrow of Teiwaz pointed up. The diamond is resting on the arrowhead.

The literal meaning of this rune is, “own earth”; this is clearly a statement which simply acknowledges the fact that God owns the earth; that He will be the King of the Millennial Kingdom, which will be established in the end of days to rule overall the earth.

“This name perfectly defines the runes’ meaning of ancestral heritage in the form of family and clan land. In the traditional law of Northern Europe, this land could never be sold. It was eternal property handed on from generation to generation. With this meaning, Othala’s shape represents an enclosure whose contents cannot be taken away…Fehu is wealth that can be traded while Othala is wealth that cannot be sold…Othala is more than physical property. It also signifies the cultural and spiritual heritage that we received from our ancestors.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.61) (Emphasis mine)

God meant for us to inherit the earth, but Odin has sought to usurp Him and to take over the ownership of the earth. It is sad that we have been deceived into giving up what rightfully has been given to us by the Lord. But, the time will come when He will, like a thunderbolt from heaven, appear in the eastern sky and the Sky Father will reclaim, what has always been rightfully His.

He is the owner of the universe and, as David said in the Psalms, of “the cattle on a thousand hills” and He has given us this rune of Othala, as an eternal symbol of our heritage that will not rust nor perish and which no thief can take from us; it is a symbol of our eternal inheritance that perishes not away. Similar in design to the rune Othala is the rune Inguz. The literal meaning is that of light and warmth as coming from the family hearth, implicating the energy, which keeps us warm in the cold of winter.

This is composed of three symbols. In the center is the diamond, which once again represents the earth, either physically or figuratively if interpreted as meaning the four cardinal points in the year. The second is the upward point of the arrow of Teiwaz representing God, and the third is the downward or inverted arrow symbolizing man.

The rune has one arrow on the top of the diamond and the other on the bottom part of the diamond and it symbolizes our dwelling with Him in His Kingdom eternally

This rune may also be interpreted as the composition of two Gebo’s.  The rune Gebo is simply an “x”, which is composed of the two arrowheads pointing in opposite direction, again the symbol of man and God.

It is a symbol, which denotes, according to the runemasters, personal communion with the divine.

The rune literally means the “gift” and by extension it means the salvation brought to man through the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. In conjunction with the interpretation of Othala, then it could be said that Inguz depicts the fact that God has given us two gifts. One is the earth and the other is the Messiah, which also comes to earth twice. The first time to save us from the oppression of sin (spiritual salvation – 1st coming) and the second time to deliver us from the oppression of the political usurper of His Kingdom (physical deliverance – 2nd coming).

“It symbolizes unity between the donor and the person to whom the gift is given, creating a state of balance and harmony…Gebo also links the human world with the divine.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.53)

It is not coincidental that the ability to have communion with God should be considered a gift, for this is what the scriptures teach:

 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

The Anglo Saxon and Northumbrian Runes, which came about much later, possibly in the early to middle part of the first millennia BC, added a few more runes to the original Elder Futhark giving it a total of 33 runes instead of 24. The Anglo Saxon runes added five more and the Northumbrian an additional four. The rune Yr is depicted with two symbols superimposed. The first is the cross or tree in the universally familiar Tau symbol:

In every major culture the symbol of the cross is death and the Celts, and the Nordic people are no exception to this rule.  The second symbol is the rune Uruz:

This is the rune, which they associate with the constellation of Taurus, and is depicted by the horns of the Aurochs (a wild and powerful ox which far exceeds the fierceness and power of our modern bulls), which is pointed earthward (down) from heaven. Now, this downward or earthward position is quite significant for it denotes humanity as opposed to divinity: the rune of Teiwaz is the arrow pointing up, which symbolizes divinity by pointing toward heaven (the sky- of the Sky Father), while the arrow pointing down toward earth denotes humanity. The meaning then is that this Taurus will one day come as a human to judge.

The constellation of Taurus was rising directly east at dawn during the Spring Equinox at the time immediately following the Great Flood, therefore all the ancient cultures that developed immediately after, held the bull in such high esteem, for this was the pre-eminent astrological sign of that epoch. The constellation of Taurus was therefore recognized as the symbol of God angered with his people and coming down in fierce judgment, thus causing the Great Flood and consequently pronouncing the judgment of the Tower of Babel. (For a wider meaning of that constellation see A Witness in the Sky). It is for this reason that the ancient cultures of that time period had such an obsession with the bull. Thus the rune Uruz would have represented to the Ur people, living sometime after the flood, a symbol of the Supreme God of the Universe, coming in judgment, with great power and strength. It follows then, that if Uruz is a symbol of Teiwaz, then their tribal name -Ur, may have been derived from Uruz, which would make sense, since they claim to have been derived directly from God.

If we conclude that Uruz is a symbol for God, in the ancient form of the Divine Bull then this rune, completed with the cross in between its horns of course plainly depicts the God of this universe (Teiwaz), who came in human form and hung on a tree. It is significant that this rune, an Anglo-Saxon Northumbrian rune has the same meaning as the Eihwaz rune of the Elder Futhark. That is to say that both are considered to be identical in content, while having a different shape. Remember that the Yew tree with the regenerated tree birthing from its decaying trunk symbolized Eihwaz. Placing these two symbols together we should have the Anglo-Saxon and Northumbrian rune for Yr, which according to the runemasters also represents death and regeneration.

But what we find here is that by this late date, the influence of the druids had begun to whittle away at the truth and by the time the Anglo Saxon runes were added, the rune Uruz no longer represented Teiwaz. The symbol of the horns had now been taken over by Satan and the gods depicted by the horn, such as Cernunnos. The horns of Uruz were now representing Satan, who in the manner of Nimrod claimed to have conquered the Divine Bull and placed the horns upon his head; a symbol of usurping the authority of the Divine Bull. The Yr rune then would be interpreted as the horns of Cernunnos covering or overpowering the cross, possibly even claiming to have brought him to the cross.

Their interpretation of death and regeneration would then mean the death of an old way and the birth of a new way (Satan’s way). The “new way” in reality is simply “the old way – the same old lie,” dating back to the time of the garden, when the serpent deceived Adam and Eve, claiming that we could be like God.

The evidence of the corruption is that the 28th rune in the Anglo-Saxon and Northumbrian runes is the rune Ior. Its sound is “io” as in “Helios”, and it is the personal rune of the Serpent.

“This rune represents the World Serpent, Iormungand, which in northern mythology, circles the Earth at the bottom of the Ocean…According to legend, Iormungand is a formidable and dangerous beast whose violent movements cause earthquakes and tidal waves which threaten to destabilize the world.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.65)

According to northern mythology Iormungand and the Fenriss-Wolf will unite with the trickster figure Loki and the evil giants at the end of time to battle against Asgard and take over the world. It is the god Tyr who defeats them. There is a commonality to the motifs of all these figures. The motif of the evil Loki tied and writhing beneath the great rocks causing earthquakes puts him in the same category as Iormungand. The Fenriss-Wolf being bound is also no coincidence and clearly associates these figures as being one and the same person as Satan. It is not coincidental that the Scripture depict the end times in the same fashion. Lucifer will be bound for one thousand years at which time he will be loosed to gather the enemies of God into the last and final battle of evil against good. The Battle of Gog and Magog will cap the end of the Millennial Kingdom of the Messiah on this Earth.

The Celtic depiction of the Serpent Iormungand, as dwelling in the depth of the Ocean and circling the Earth is in accord with the Scriptural teaching that he is presently the Prince of this world. In addition the Bible refers to him as the Leviathan, the monster of the deep, a fact that is also depicted in the zodiac as Cetus. The symbol for the rune Ior is, not surprisingly, composed of six points, the number of the antichrist.

It is the combination of two previous runes, the Isa representing ice and the Gebo representing communion with the divine. In contrast to the rune Inguz with two Gebo’s and which represents communion with the divine in the context of the warmth and light of the family hearth, this symbol represents the Gebo with the ice. It is the communion with the cold and calculated Serpent whose end is to usurp the divine, and whose doctrine has corrupted the truth. The modern runemaster is incorrectly taught that Ior cannot be defeated and must be accepted.

“As an essential part of the world’s structure, however, Iormungand cannot be destroyed. Even if it became possible to eliminate the qualities it represents, this would produce a catastrophe far worse than the monster’s continuing existence. Thus the Ior rune signifies those unavoidable hardships and problems with which we must come to terms, so that our lives can be tolerable. Ior tells us that we should not worry about the things we cannot change.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.65)

Now, as an aside here, I should like to point out that the Chi Rho symbol used by Constantine to represent Christianity, is the combination of the first two letters of the name of Christ in the Greek alphabet and it is almost identical to this rune. Its shape is composed of the Gebo, which corresponds to the Chi and the Rho, which is a modification of Isa with an added triangle denoting the trinity on the top. Thus the interconnection intimated by this rune is not communion with the ice (Satan) of Isa, but with the triangle banner, which depicts the Triune Godhead. He is our Jehovah Nissi — The Lord our Banner, our Egyptian Neteru.

This symbol is found in the Christian flag of the Protestants, as well as the Roman Catholics, and it denotes the unity of the Triune Godhead, with Christ and humanity. Ior is then, in contrast, really the counterfeit symbol of this sign of God and Christ, within the Triune Godhead.

The final rune of the Northumbrian Futhork is called Gar and it replaces the rune in the Elder Futhark Gebo in that it’s sound is the same — “g” as in “gift”. Remember that Gebo represented man in communion with God, now the rune Gar places a sinister slant on this communion and represents communion with the usurper.

“When the four aettir are written down in a circle, the Gar rune forms the central point. Gar represents the beginning of a brand new order of things.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.67)

The literal meaning of the rune is “spear” and it intimates the taking over of the old way by the new way through the force of the spear.

“Gar has the literal meaning of a spear, specifically Gungnir, Odin’s spear, which has a staff made of ash wood, making it a portable version of the World Tree Yggdrasil. This is the tree on which Odin hung for nine days and nine nights before discovering the wisdom of the runes, unlike the other 32 runes that are assigned to a particular aett in the Northumbrian system. It is a rune considered containing all of the others. It is unique, representing the center point of space that is at the same time everywhere and nowhere.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.67)

Odin is the counterfeit usurper and his spear, Gungnir, is the same as the one that was thrust in the side of the Messiah, when He hung upon the cross. Thus, Gungnir is the weapon, which Satan used to inflict the wound upon the heel of the One that would come from the seed of Eve. Here the gift of God is replaced by the gift of the usurper, conquest through death and terror. The Gar rune is composed of the rune Gebo superimposed on the diamond symbol for the Earth. It is the symbol of man in communion with the Prince of this Earth, and ruling this earth.

It is highly probable that this last rune is in fact the symbol for the day in which Satan takes over the world. It is the day prophesied by the occultists as the great “Day be With Us.” This is the day in which the Antichrist “will confirm a covenant with many for a week” (seven years – a week of years) (Daniel 9:27). This day will herald a mass initiation of converts to this Satanic New World Order and will mark the final takeover of the nations of the world by the Antichrist. Satan divides time from this point in the same manner that we divide time from the standpoint of the birth of Christ. In this fashion this rune is similar to the symbol of the swastika. That is, the rune Gar is in accord with the swastika, in that they both symbolize the day of the 666. The swastika is a symbol composed by superimposing two Gibor runes belonging to the Armanean runes.

“Gibor, Ge, or Fyrvos (sound ‘g’) is the giver of life, the divine principle, the cosmic consciousness, the giver and the gift. Gibor, like Gebo, also means the gift and has the sound of “g”, and another counterfeit of Gebo and, which is an indication to us, of the importance that Satan attributes to the meaning of the rune of Gebo, that he so adamantly attempts to counterfeit it in numerous ways. The swastika here also denotes the center point of importance for the usurper, in the space-time continuum. It is the day when the gift of God will be supplanted by the gift of Satan; and just what is this gift of Satan?

It is the antithesis of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who is the true symbol of the gift of God — Gebo. It is the counterfeit indwelling; the demon possession of those initiated in that great day of Initiation during that fateful day of the 666, by which the demons disguised as Spiritual Masters and Guides of the ignorant and unsuspecting humans that buy into his New World Order, shall posses complete control of the world. Their mother rune called Hagal betrays the obviously occult leaning of the Armanean runes. Hagal is simply the rune for the Serpent Ior.

It is the six-pointed rune, symbolic of the Antichrist and his dreaded 666.

“Hagal (sound ‘H’) is the rune of enclosure, containing the primal seed of things. Contemporary users call this the ‘mother rune’ and see all other runes as derived from it. Its six fold point may signify the midpoint of order in the cosmos.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.80) (Emphasis mine)

Phrases, like the “primal seed” or the “divine principle” or the “cosmic consciousness” or “the great breath” are euphemisms for the person of Satan in occult writings and should alert us to the fact that the doctrines associated with those teachings are in fact demonic. The enclosure is, of course, the entrapment created by the demonic possession of the humans in that dreadful day, and the enclosure of the world at large, under their control.

The Armanean Futhork is actually based on the Younger Futhork that was developed after the Anglo-Saxon and Northumbrian Futhork, making it even more corrupted. These runes of the Younger Futhark betray their underlying influence by the shamanistic druids in their change of the YR rune. The symbol they now adopted also broke the symbol of Teiwaz in half but instead of showing the arrow downward, symbolizing God coming down, becoming man and being broken, the symbol is with the arrow on the bottom part of the rune pointing upward thus signifying man’s (Satan’s) attempt to become God and usurp his authority in heaven.

The same basic symbol represents in occult doctrine the crow’s foot. The raven and the crow or blackbirds are symbols of Satan; the word raven comes from the Hebrew “ravin” and is derived from the root word “rapin”, which literally means to “violently plunder”; it is also the same root word for the words, “rape” and “ravenous”, as in a ravenous beast. It must be noted that the raven is one of the most intelligent animals in the world and their ability to solve problems and to wreak havoc is famed.
The occult initiates also interpret this symbol, as the roots of the tree of life, or world tree called Yggdrasil.

These roots are, according to Norse legend, located in the part of the cosmos called Utgard (hell) where the Dragon galled Nidhogg dwells.

“It has the same meaning as the Anglo Saxon Futhork rune Yr. Its shape symbolizes the three roots of the World Tree Yggdrasil. It is the entrance to the underworld, and in this form it is the death rune of Teutonic Magic, where it is sometimes called Elgr” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.71)

It is, in modern day occult theology, the symbol of the cross, turned upside down and broken. That is to say a symbol in rebellion toward the meaning of the Christian cross. It represents the destruction or death of everything that is represented by the Christian cross.

One of the most striking elements of the northern mythology is the concept of the World Tree. The fourth rune in the Elder Futhark, Ansuz, represents this and it has the sound of “AA” as in “aah”. The Olmec-Mayan God Zamna-Tonatiuh was pictured with his mouth open in the act of creating through the spoken word. Ptah similarly was credited with having created the world, also through the spoken word. The Celtic rune Ansuz carries this connotation and is regarded as a rune, which symbolizes God, in the act of creation. The God referred to by this rune initially was, of course, Teiwaz and the concept is not unlike the Hindu OHMM!

“This rune is named for the ash tree, one of the most sacred trees of the Northern Tradition and specifically in Norse tradition, the tree of life, the World Tree, Yggdrasil, the cosmic axis that links all the worlds of creation. It is a symbol of stability…” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.51)

Modern day practitioners have corrupted the original intent of this rune, which was to symbolize the creation of the universe as an act of God through the power of His spoken Word, the Divine Logos. Instead the fiat creation by the spoken word has been replaced by the occult concept of the “Divine Breath” or the “Divine Force”, which as stated previously, are simply an occult euphemism for the very person of Satan.

“Ansuz is the rune of the divine force. It symbolizes the divine breath that powers existence, of which the gods and goddesses are the most perfect expression.” (Runes by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.51) (Emphasis mine)

The concept was corrupted at the time that the Anglo Saxon Futhork was devised.  Here Ansuz was replaced by Aesc and o’s.

“When the Anglo Saxons extended the Elder Futhark, they moved Ansuz into twenty-sixth place and called it Aesc and put a new rune called O’s in it’s place, with the sound ‘O’ as in ‘open’. The Futhark therefore became Futhork! However, there was still a close connection between the meanings of Aesc (Ansuz) and O’s. Literally, O’s means ‘mouth’, and by extension speech song and language.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.64) (Emphasis mine)

The O’s rune then became associated with Odin and the meaning of Ansuz was wrested from Teiwaz to the usurper Odin. Thus the creative word was turned into the shamanistic symbol for incantations. The power of the Divine Logo was usurped by the counterfeit power of the chant.

Incantations are nothing less then the sending out of a demon to complete a task. That there is demonic power to accomplish these deeds cannot be denied, but it is no match for the power of the Living Logos who is described in the Scriptures as defeating the demons and armies of the Antichrist through the sword protruding out of His mouth. (Revelation 19:14-15)

“O’s denotes the creative power of the word and hence wisdom itself. The O’s rune is at it’s most powerful when called or chanted repeatedly during meditation in what is known as galdr, or runic incantation, which is said to bring the powers of the cosmic breath into action.” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.64) (Emphasis mine)

No doubt this is the power of Incantations, the sending forth of Demons through the Master Demon himself the “Divine Breath”.

The three realms of the created universe are depicted in the Celtic concept of the World Tree. The top of the tree is where the special golden apples, which give the gods immortality, exist, this area is called Asgard and it is synonymous with the concept of Heaven.  Valhalla is the abode of the gods and corresponds to the Temple in Heaven, which is where the throne of God resides.

The biblical concept of the tree of life, which brandishes a fruit that produces immortality and which is so clearly expounded in the Egyptian and Mayan Mythology, is also, curiously, depicted in Celtic mythology. The Mayans also depict the world divided into the three realms, Heaven the home of Huracan, the earth the home of humans and the underworld the home of the demons; consequently they would sacrifice their victims drowning them in the wells or cisterns through which they believed they could enter into the underworld. This is further attestation to the fact that the complete story of the scriptures has been universally taught to all mankind in the past.

The world tree therefore represents the three divisions of reality: Asgard – heaven, Midgard – the physical earthly realm, and Utgard – the underworld or Hades.

The second layer of this Celtic cosmos is the realm of humanity, the physical universe; it is the realm called Midgard. The landmass is curiously depicted as a single landmass surrounded by the ocean as it literally was before the flood. It is in Midgard that the Serpent Iormungand resides in the Ocean deep, as the Leviathan Cetus in the Zodiac and he is the same person as the Dragon Nidhogg in Utgard represented by Draco of the zodiac.

The serpent Iormungand, Loki, the Fenriss Wolf, and the Dragon Nidhogg are all representations of the same Draco, the Serpent called the Dragon in Scripture, which is recognized as the Prince of this world that will empower one who is coming that will rule the entire earth for a brief moment. I am speaking of  the Antichrist indwelt by Satan and the False Prophet empowered by Satan that will cause all to worship him in the latter times. Christ spoke of this Prince who is to come and prophesied his doom, for Christ Himself will return to oust him from the tyrannical grip, which he will have on the earth:

“Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the Prince of this world will be driven out” (John 12:31)

“I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you will believe. I will not speak with you much longer, for the Prince of this world is coming.” (John 14:30)

“…I am going to the Father where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment, because the Prince of this world now stands condemned.” (John 16:10b,11)

The Serpent Draco is presently the Prince of Midgard, but he knows that his victory will be short lived for soon, out of Asgard, will rise the Morning Star, and from the east, He shall ascend like a bolt of lightning on this Earth, and He shall destroy the Kingdom of Darkness, which presently shrouds our world with confusion, injustice and oppression.

Iormungand will then be thrown into the bottomless pit and be bound with chains in Utgard (this is the same as the Celtic motif of Loki and the Fenriss-Wolf being bound).

The prophet Isaiah tells us that Satan was once also called the Morning Star and the “son of the dawn”. It is for this reason that occult doctrine refers to him as the Golden Dawn. He seeks to usurp the Messiah by beating him to the punch and establishing his One World Order. But his doom is sealed; he will be cast first from Asgard by the Archangel Michael and then from Midgard to Utgard where he will be bound with his demons and finally into the Lake of Fire forever and ever, Amen.

“But you are brought down to the grave to the depths of the pit (Utgard)… But you are cast out of your tomb like a rejected branch; you are covered with the slain, with those pierced by the sword, those who descended to the stones of the pit (the demons that followed him).” (Isaiah 14:15,19) (Parenthesis and emphasis mine)

God had given all Angels a position of authority in Asgard, but one third of all the angels chose to follow Lucifer in rebellion against God, these are depicted in the Northern tradition as the Giants and the monsters, which shall be punished in Utgard along with Lucifer.

“And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home (Asgard) these He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the Great Day.” (Jude 6) (Parenthesis mine)

The Northern Tradition states that there is a guardian called, Heimdall, who is the keeper of Bifrost, the “Rainbow Bridge”, between Earth and Heaven. In addition, his companion Mordgud guards the entrance into hell. There is a connection then, in Celtic Mythology, between heaven and Earth and this is the rainbow. This is significant, when one considers the biblical narrative in conjunction with the story of the Great Flood, for after the total destruction of the planet and its antediluvian civilization, God made a covenant with Noah and sealed it with a rainbow. Thus the rainbow is the covenant or connection between the earth and the abode of God.

“And God said ‘This is the sign of the covenant I am making with you, a covenant for all generations to come. I have set a rainbow in the clouds and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the Earth’.” (Genesis 9:12-13) (Emphasis mine)

The rainbow was indelibly etched in the memory of the survivors of the Great Flood, the early postdiluvian civilization. The ancient Ur people would have undoubtedly passed down to their descendants the knowledge of the rainbow covenant that connected heaven and earth; that Asgard had a covenant connection with Midgard through the rainbow. After all, it is literally a symbol of God’s power and love to forgive and to bridge the gap with mankind. In their corrupted theology the god Freyr and the goddess Freyja are associated with this realm and are depicted as the gods who are over fertility, sexuality and prosperity. Their symbol is that of the magic boar Gullinsbursti (the gold bristled) or Slithrugtanni (the ‘cutting tusked’).

“The characteristic of the boar or sow gives the animal powerful symbolic associations. It roots in the earth, it is highly fertile yet may also eat its own offspring…” (Runes, by Nigel Pennick, Barnes and Noble, NY, 1999, pg.122) (Emphasis mine)

The symbolism here is quite accurate in that it depicts the Satanic demand on the Celts to sacrifice their offspring in order to ensure fertility and prosperity. But, the original meaning of the rainbow in Celtic thought was the interconnection between man and God and coincidentally the rainbow is also described around the throne of God in Heaven; it is therefore no great surprise to find the rainbow as the symbol of the connection between Asgard and Midgard.

“At once I was in the Spirit and there before me was a throne in Heaven with someone sitting on it. And the One who sat there had the appearance of Jasper and carnelian. A rainbow resembling an emerald encircled the throne.” (Revelation 4: 2,3)

The third level in the Celtic macrocosm is then the lowest on the Yggdrasil Tree and it is where the roots of the tree are anchored; this is the realm of Utgard, and it is the realm we call hell.
Like Iormungand in Midgard, there is a fierce and terrible dragon in Utgard called Nidhogg. Here this Dragon Beast rules over the many serpents dwelling in the realm of the dead. No doubt, this is the same Dragon spoken by the Apostle John in the book of revelation:

“They had as king over them the Angel of the Abyss (Utgard), whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek Apollyon” (Revelation 9:11) (Parenthesis mine)

This name translated means the Destroyer and is in the Celt mythology none other then the Dragon Nidhogg.

“And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key to the abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the Dragon, that Ancient Serpent, who is the devil, or Satan and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the abyss and locked and sealed it over him.” (Revelation 20:1,2,3a)

What a glorious day that will be when Michael the Archangel chains Satan and binds him in Utgard for a thousand years. I cannot wait for that glorious day, for I will dance with jubilation, I will sing with exultation and I will dance till I cannot move another muscle. May God give us grace and courage to endure until that day, when we shall reign with Him in peace and righteousness and justice shall prevail upon the earth. The weak will be made strong and the proud shall be made low and the mountains shall crumble and the works of man shall be brought low by the greatest earthquake in the history of the world. He shall stand upon Mt. Zion as the Lion Man with His silver hand He shall destroy the armies of the Evil Tyrant, the Fenris Wolf, with the sword of His breath. While it is true that eventually Loki shall loose his chains, yet in the time of the “Doom of the Gods” predicted by the Celtic tradition, Teiwaz shall reign victorious and the survivors shall once again repopulate the earth.

The stability factor that is portrayed by the World Tree is in my opinion a symbolism of the cross, for it is through the cross that we are able to enter into Asgard and escape the Serpent in Midgard and the dragon in Utgard. Christ is our ‘rainbow bridge,’ if you will, to allow us entrance into heaven. The truth of the original One True Religion is plain to see for all who care to look.
